Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to search for the execution reference numbers that are in “Active” status. You can carry out the search using the execution reference number, status, operations type, station and  aircraft registration number.

The “Help On Execution Ref #” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the "Organization Setup" business component by default.

Execution Ref  #

Use the drop-down list box to select the package type. The combo is loaded with “Log Card” and all the package types which are in “Active” status and for which “Attributes Defined’ is set as “Yes” in the Common Master business component. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Enter the execution reference number for which the details are to be retrieved in the input box alongside (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all execution reference numbers similar to the number entered here.

Task Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the task status. The drop-down list box lists the options “Planned”, “In Progress”, “Planned & In Progress”, “Completed”, “Closed” and blank. The system displays “Planned & In Progress” by default on launch of the page. However, if the process parameter “Allow Work Centre Assignment in Work Reporting Hub?” is set as '1' for “Allowed” in Define Process Entities under the entity type: Package Type and the entity: User Defined Package Types, the drop-down list box displays Fresh and Draft also. The system retrieves those execution documents in the status that you select here.

Doc.  Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the execution reference belongs. The system lists all the values defined for the quick code type “Technical Log Category” in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft for which the execution reference details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves execution reference numbers raised for the aircraft registration number entered here.

Station

Use the drop-down list box to specify the station where the execution reference has been reported on the sheet. The system lists all the “Active” stations defined in the “Create Station” activity of the “Common Masters” business component.

Work Center #

The work center number for which the execution reference details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all work center numbers similar to the number entered here.

Task #

The task number for which the execution reference details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all tasks similar to the number entered here.

Task Description

The task description for which the execution reference details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all descriptions similar to the description entered here.

Discrepancy #

The discrepancy number for which the execution reference details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all discrepancy numbers similar to the number entered here.

Log Item #

The log item number for which the execution reference details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all log item numbers similar to the number entered here.

Discrepancy Description

The discrepancy description for which the execution reference details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all discrepancy descriptions similar to the description entered here.

Journey Log #

The number identifying the journey log (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves details of all execution references that are created for the journey log number entered here.

Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the aircraft model (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the aircraft model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the execution references that are associated with the model type, which is mapped to the aircraft model specified here.

Task Category

The task category (Alphanumeric, 25). The system retrieves details of all execution references that are created for the task category entered.

Planned Start Date From / To

The planned start date of the execution reference from which the details are to be retrieved. (Date format).

The planned end date of the execution reference until which the details are to be retrieved. (Date format).

Task Type

The task category (Alphanumeric, 25). The system retrieves details of all execution references that are created for the task category entered.

Operations Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the operations type of the flight. The system lists the options “Flight Operations” and “Repair Station”. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of technical log irrespective of the operations type.

Exec. Phase

Use the drop-down list box to select the execution phase to which the execution reference belongs. The combo is loaded with blank and all the values defined in the Task Master business component. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Work Area

The work area (Alphanumeric, 20). The system retrieves details of all execution references that are created for the work area entered.

Zone

The code identifying the zone. (Alphanumeric, 20). The system retrieves details of all execution references that are created for the zone entered.

Package Created By

The employee who created the package. You can enter the employee number / name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the execution references that were created by the employees with number / name similar to the value specified here.

The system displays the following in the “Execution Ref # Details” multiline:

The number assigned to the execution reference.

Package Description

The description of the AME package.

Package Type

The type of package.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft for which the execution reference details are to be updated.

Seq #

The number identifying the sequence.

Task #

The number identifying the task.

Task Description

The description of the task.

Discrepancy #

The number identifying the discrepancy.

Log Item #

The number identifying the log item.

Discrepancy Description

The description of the discrepancy.

Plan Start Date

The planned start date of the execution reference.

Plan End Date

The planned end date of the execution reference.

Station

The station where the execution reference has been reported on the sheet.

Work Center #

The work center of the execution reference.

ATA #

The ATA chapter on which the discrepancy is reported.

Task Category

The category to which the task belongs.

Task Type

The type of the task.

Exec. Phase

The execution phase of the execution reference.

Est. Elapsed Time

The estimated elapsed time of the execution reference.

Journey Log #

The number identifying the journey log of the technical log.

Doc. Category

The category to which the document belongs.

Status

The status of the execution reference.

Aircraft Model #

The model to which the aircraft belongs.

Package Created By

The number / name of the employee who created the package.
