Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This page can be used to find the journey log, which is not yet associated to any technical log.

The “Help On Journey Log” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Journey Log #

The number that identifies the journey log to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the journey log number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all journey logs with numbers similar to the number entered here.

Flight # /  Leg #

The flight number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the flight number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all journey logs created for flight numbers similar to the number entered here.

The number identifying the leg of the flight (Alphanumeric, 6). Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive. You can enter the leg number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all journey logs created for leg numbers similar to the number entered here.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft for which the journey log details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all journey logs created for the aircraft registration number entered here.

Aircraft Model #

Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model for which the journey log must be retrieved. You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the journey logs created for the aircraft model specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of aircraft irrespective of the model. The system leaves the field blank by default.

From Station

Use the drop-down list box to select the station where the journey started. The system lists all the “Active” stations defined in the “Create Station” activity of the “Common Masters” business component. The system leaves the field blank by default.

To Station

Use the drop-down list box to select the destination station of the flight. The system lists all the stations defined in the “Create Station“ activity of the “Common Masters” business component.

Actual Departure Date

The actual date and time of departure of the flight (Date & Time Format).

Actual Arrival Date

The actual date and time of arrival of the flight (Date & Time Format).

Flight Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the flight belongs. The system lists all the values defined for the quick code type “Flight Category” in the “Create Quick Code” activity of the “Common Master” business component.

User Status

Use the drop-down list to select the user-defined status for the journey log. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes that are of the type “Journey Log” created in the “Create Quick Codes” activity.

Log Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the journey log belongs. The system lists all the values defined for the quick code type “Journey Log Category” in the “Create Quick Code” activity.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Journey Log #

The number identifying the journey log.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the journey log was created.

Aircraft Model #

The aircraft model number.

Flight #

The flight number of the aircraft.

Leg #

The number identifying the leg of the flight.

From Station

The station from where the journey started.

To Station

The destination station of the journey.

Sch. Departure Date

The planned start date of the journey.

Sch. Arrival Date

The planned end date of the journey.

Actual Departure Date

The actual date on which the journey commenced.

Actual Arrival Date

The actual date on which the journey ended.

Flight Category

The category to which the flight belongs.

User Status

The user-defined status for the journey log.

Log Category

The category to which the journey log belongs.
