Help on flight & leg in aircraft routing
This page allows you to retrieve the details of a flight code that is defined earlier
You can carry out a search using the flight number, leg number, from station and to station. You can also carry out the search based on standard departure time, standard arrival time, scheduled departure date and scheduled arrival date.
You can also select the data set on which you want to carry out the search. Data sets available are

The “Search on” drop down box controls the data set to be searched. Details such as the flight light number, leg number, status, station, standard departure time, standard arrival time, time unit and the estimated travel duration .are displayed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Flight #” field in the main screen.
The “Help on Flight & Leg” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date & Time Format |
The format in which the date and time fields are entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the ”Aircraft Details” group box:
Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft registration number identifying the aircraft suggested for the flight routing. |
Aircraft Model # |
The number identifying the model of the aircraft. |
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a flight code. Data entry in the following fields is optional.
Flight # |
The flight number to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the flight number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all flight numbers whose numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
Leg # |
The number identifying the leg of the flight. Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive (Alphanumeric, 6). If no leg number is entered, the system assumes it as one-leg flight. |
From Station |
Use the drop-down list box to select the station where the journey starts. The system lists all the “Active” stations defined in the “Create Station” activity of the “Common Masters” business component |
To Station |
Use the drop-down list box to select the destination station of the flight. The system lists all the stations defined in the “Create Station“ activity of the “Common Masters” business component and leaves the field blank by default. |
Std. Departure Time |
The standard departure time of the flight event for which the flight code is created. (Time Format). Ensure that the time entered in this field is in the format specified in the “Date & Time Format” field. |
Std. Arrival Time |
The standard arrival time of the flight event (Time format). The estimated travel duration is added with the standard departure time to arrive at the standard arrival time. |
Search On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether to search for flight and leg number based on 'Routing', 'Assignment' or 'Flight #'. The system displays ’Routing’ by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:
Flight # |
The flight number retrieved by the system. |
Leg # |
The number identifying the leg of the flight. |
From Station |
The station from which the flight starts. |
To Station |
The station in which the flight lands. |
Std. Departure Time |
The standard departure time of the flight from the “From station”. |
Std. Arrival Time |
The standard arrival time of the flight to the “To station”. |
Time unit |
The time unit in which the travel duration is measured. |
Est. Travel Duration |
The estimated journey time from the “From station” to the “To station”. |
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
To proceed, carry out the following:
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the flight and leg combination for which you wish to view the alternate stations.
Select the “Alternate station” link in the bottom of the page to go to “Help on Alternate Station”.
