This page allows you to create aircraft routes. Tell me more.

The “Create Aircraft Routing” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is to be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Aircraft Details” group box:

Aircraft Route #

The number by which a journey of all aircrafts belonging to the fleet (as defined in the system) for a time period as per the active assignments is identified. The system generates an aircraft route number according to the numbering type selected in the “Aircraft Routing Num Type” drop-down list box. You cannot modify the aircraft route number.

Aircraft Routing Num Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for creating the aircraft route number. The system lists all the numbering types as defined in the “Create Numbering Type” activity of the “Document Numbering Type” component. By default, the system sets the field to the default numbering type specified for flight routing.

Description

The description of the flight routing (Alphanumeric, 150).

Zoom facility available

The system displays the following in the “Aircraft Routing Information” group box:

Routing From Date

The system calculates this field by adding one day to the “Routing To Date” of the latest aircraft routing.

If you are creating the first flight routing, you must set the “First Aircraft Routing Date” in the “Option Setting” activity of the current business component. System considers this date as starting point for routing.

  • Enter the following:

Routing To Date

Enter the date up to which the aircraft routing information is needed.

The system displays the following:

Time Indicator

Use the drop-down list box to select the time indicator for the aircraft routing timings. The system displays all the options as set in the “Option Setting” activity of the current business component.

The system retrieves the list of all the ‘Active’ flight assignments from the “Flight Assignment” business component that are valid for the given period. The system also tries to list automatically, the aircraft suggested for every flight assignment.

The system displays the following in the “Aircraft Routing Details” multiline.

Start Date

The starting date of the flight assignment.

Start Time

The starting time of the flight. This is the starting time of the first leg of the flight assignment.

Flight Assignment #

The number of the flight assignment identified for the aircraft routing.

Flight #

The flight number associated with the flight assignment.

No. Of Legs

The total number of legs in the flight assignment.

Aircraft Model #

The default aircraft model suggested for the flight assignment.

Originating Station

The starting station of the flight assignment.

Destination Station

The last station in the flight assignment.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number identifying the aircraft suggested for the flight routing. . The system tries to assign the aircraft automatically, on the following constraints:

Aircraft actual / scheduled arrival time, Routing Rule, Preferred Aircraft and Model List for the Flight Assignment and the individual Flight number and / or Leg number associated to the Flight assignment

.If that s aircraft is planned for "heavy maintenance" on that day, then the system assigns the aircraft, which has the next priority.

Enter a valid aircraft registration number, if the system leaves this field blank. You can also modify the aircraft registration number suggested by the system. (Alphanumeric, 30)

The system displays the following:

End Date

The date on which the flight assignment ends.

End Time

The time at which the flight assignment ends.
