Demand Management Hub - A summary of the activity

The "Demand Management Hub” tracks the material request from Planning till Closure. Through “Plan Materials” screen, Material Request can be planned through Purchase Request, Stock Transfer, Direct Issue or Make Work Order. However, the life of a Material Request in this screen ends once it is planned. Many a times, it is the responsibility of a Material Planner to track the Material Request till closure.  If a Material Planner wants to track the Planned Material Requests, it is required to get into individual Material Request document.

The Demand Management Hub screen enables the Material Planner to track the end to end life cycle of Material Request document. Also, provision to efficiently represent the available stock for planning in multiple Material Requests is available in this hub screen.

The Demand Management Hub caters the following needs:

4 Plan the Material Requests that are open due to non-availability of Stock.

4 Simulate Material Request Allocation through open Sourcing Documents.

4 View and Follow-Up on the Order documents (through Collaborator) covering the Material Requests.

4 Update the Shipping Instructions against the Material Request.
