More details-Threshold date
At the onset the system derives the following for generation of Threshold Date:
The Deferral Duration in days.
The Discrepancy Reference Date: For the Deferral Type you select, if the option Deferral Limit Basis is set as "Include Reporting Date", the Reported Date of the discrepancy will be the Reference Date.
For example, discrepancy 1 was reported on 12/01/2009 with Deferral Limit Basis set as "Include Reporting Date" and Deferral Duration of 10 days:
Threshold Date = Reference Date + Deferral Duration
12/10/2009 = 12/01/2009 + 10 days
Conversely, if the option Deferral Limit Basis is set as "Exclude Reporting Date", the Reference date will be the Reported Date of the discrepancy + 1 day.
Considering the previous example but with the Deferral Limit Basis as "Exclude Reporting Date" :
Threshold Date = (Reference Date + 1 day) + Deferral Duration
12/11/2009 = (12/01/2009 + 1 day) + 10 days
