This page enables you to view details of the resolution procedures identified for a maintenance report.

The “View Resolution Procedures” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Maint. Report Details” group box:

Maint. Report #

The number of the maintenance report that has been raised for the aircraft.

Applicability

Indicates whether the maintenance report is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Maint. Report Description

The textual description of the maintenance report.

Maint. Report Class

The class to which the maintenance report belongs.

Record Status

The status of the discrepancy or maintenance report, which can be “Fresh” or “Pending”.

Processing Status

The processing status of the discrepancy, which can be “None”, “Under Analysis” and  “Analyzed”.

Tracking Status

The user-defined tracking status defined for the discrepancy.

Created at Org. Unit

The organization unit where the maintenance report has been created.

The system displays the following fields in the “Maint. Object Details” group box:

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft against which the maintenance report has been raised.

Aircraft Model #

The model number of the aircraft against which the maintenance report has been raised.

Component #

The component number against which the discrepancy has been reported.

Part Serial #

The part serial number for which a discrepancy has been reported.

Part #

The part number for which a discrepancy has been reported.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

The system displays the following fields in the “Suggested Transfer Details” group box:

Component #

The component to which the discrepancy was suggested to be transferred.

Part #

The part number to which the discrepancy was suggested to be transferred.

Part Serial #

The part serial number to which the discrepancy was suggested to be transferred.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Resolution Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the resolution type for which work unit details must be viewed. The system displays the following options:

  • “Corrective” – Select this option to specify a resolution procedure where the work units have to be executed only once on the component to resolve the discrepancy.

  • “Repetitive” – Select this option to specify a resolution procedure where the work units have to be executed repeatedly at regular intervals on a component to resolve the discrepancy.

If you have selected a maintenance report in the previous page, then the system sets this field to the resolution type defined for the maintenance report. Otherwise, this field is set to “Corrective” by default.

The system retrieves the work unit details of the selected resolution type.

The system displays the following field:

Existing Content

The existing resolution type defined for the maintenance report. The system displays either “Corrective”, “Repetitive” or “Both”.

The system displays the following field in the “Resolution Procedure” multiline:

Work Unit Type

The type of work unit, which can be “Standard”, "Task" or “New Task”.

Seq #

The sequence number for the record in the multiline.

Work Unit #

The number of the work unit that has been performed to resolve the discrepancy.

Work Unit Desc

The textual description of the work unit.

ATA #

The ATA chapter on which the work unit was performed.

The system displays the following field in the “Other Details” multiline:

Other Instructions

Any other instructions regarding the resolution procedure.
