Entering the parameter details of the customer part
In this page you can modify maintenance parameter values for the part for which the customer goods receipt has been created. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Parameter Detail” link at the bottom of the “Edit Serial #/ Lot # & Storage Information” page. This link can be launched only if the part type for the part number is “Component”.
The “Edit Parameter Detail ” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Customer Goods Receipt Details” group box:
CGR # |
The unique code identifying the customer goods receipt. |
Status |
The status of the customer goods receipt. |
Line # |
The sequential number generated automatically by the system for every line containing the part numbers. |
Enter the following fields in the “Customer Goods Receipt Details” group box:
Part Serial # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the serial number of the part to enter the parameter information. The system displays all the parts with part control type as “Serial Number Controlled” and the part type as “Component”. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the details for the part serial number selected.
The system displays the following in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The unique code identifying the part. |
Customer Part # |
The unique code identifying the customer supplied part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. Zoom facility available. |
Part Condition |
The condition of the part. |
The system displays the following in the “Parameter Details” multiline:
Parameter |
The measurable attribute of a component, such as CSO /TSO /CSI / TSI /CSR /TSR (Cycles or Time Since Overhaul/Inspection/ Repair), through which the life and maintenance of a component is monitored. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement, such as flying hours or flying cycles, for monitoring the life and maintenance of a component. |
Note: Fractions can be entered, only if the UOM has been set to “Allow fractions” in the “Create UOM” activity of the “Unit of Measurement Administration” business component.
Enter the following:
Since New |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its manufacture (Integer, 20) |
Note: If the part condition is “New”, then all the parameter values will be blank.
Since Overhaul |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last overhaul in the shop (Integer, 20) |
Note: Ensure that if the part condition is “Overhaul”, the parameter value for “Since New” should be greater than zero and other parameters such as “Since Repair”, “Since Inspection” and “Since Last Shop Visit” are set to zero.
Since Repair |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last repair in the shop (Integer, 20) |
Since Inspection |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last inspection in the shop (Integer, 20) |
Since Last Shop Visit |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last visit to the shop for maintenance (Integer, 20) |
Note: Ensure that the parameter value for “Since New”, “Since Overhaul”, “Since Repair”, “Since Last Shop Visit” and “Since Inspection” are equal to or greater than zero, if the part condition is “Serviceable”.
Note: If the part condition is “Serviceable”, then “Since New” should be greater than or equal to “Since Overhaul” and “Since Overhaul” should be greater than or equal to “Since Repair”, “Since Last Shop Visit” and “Since Inspection”
Click the “Edit Parameter Detail” pushbutton to update the parameter details.

Entering the parameter details of the customer part – An overview
You can modify the attribute of a component, such as CSO /TSO /CSI / TSI /CSR /TSR (Cycles or Time Since Overhaul/ Inspection/ Repair), through which the life and maintenance of a component is monitored. You can modify these maintenance parameter values for the part for which the customer goods receipt has been created.
You can update parameters, such as the time or cycle since the component was manufactured or underwent maintenance like overhaul, repair and inspection.

You can modify the parameter values of the part which serial or lot controlled.
Select the part serial number for which the parameter values must be entered, in the “Part Serial #” drop-down list box.
Update the parameter value in “Since New” field, if you wish to modify the flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since it is manufactured.
Update the parameter value in “Since Overhaul” field, if you wish to modify the flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last overhaul in the shop.
Update the parameter value in “Since Repair” field, if you wish to modify the flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last repair by the shop.
Update the parameter value in “Since Inspection” field, if you wish to modify the flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last inspection in the shop.
Update the parameter value in “Since Last Visit Shop” field, if you wish to modify the flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last visit by the shop.
