Managing restricted stock status
This activity enables you to map the list of stock statuses that are to be restricted to each Customer . Tell me more.
Select the “Manage Restricted Stock Status” link in the “Edit Customer Main Information” link in the Edit Customer Record activity under the “Customer” business component.
“The “Manage Restricted Stock Status” page appears.
Note that defining restricted stock status is not mandatory that is, customer can be made active even without defining restricted stock status.
The system displays the following fields in the “Customer Info” section:
Customer # |
The code identifying the customer.. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer |
Customer Category |
The category to which the customer belongs. |
Enter the following in the “Stock Status Info” section:
Stock Status |
The user defined stock status as defined in the “Create User Defined Stock Status” activity in the “User Defined Stock Status” business component. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Stock Status Info” multiline:
Description |
The textual description pertaining to the user defined stock status. |
Valuated? |
Indicates whether stock can be valuated, which could be “Yes” or “No”. |
Enter the following fields in the “Stock Status Info” section:
Defaulted? |
Indicates whether stock status to be considered in transactions for the specified customer, which could be “Yes” or “No”. |
Notes |
Any additional comment pertaining to the stock status that is mapped. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the stock status mapped against the specified customer.
Note: Ensure that the stock status selected is unique for the given customer.
Managing restricted stock status - An Overview
This activity enables you to map the list of stock statuses that are to be restricted to each Customer. The stock status mapped to a customer must be unique and cannot be reused for another customer.
