This page allows you to define details of the tasks associated to the maintenance objects of the customer.  Tell me more

The “Edit Customer Task Master List” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Customer Details” group box:

Customer #

The code identifying the customer for whom the task master details must be entered.

The operational status of the customer must be “Active”.

Customer Name

The name of the customer

Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to select the applicability for which the task details must be specified. The system lists the options “Aircraft”, “Component” and “Engine”.

Maintenance Object

The maintenance object for which the task is applicable (Alphanumeric, 40).

  • You must enter part number for “Component” or “Engine” applicability and model number for “Aircraft” applicability.

  • The part number or model number must be already defined in “Part Administration” or “Aircraft” business components respectively.

  • For a part specified for “Engine” applicability, the part type of the part must be “Component” in “Part Administration” business component.

Note: The customer task card number and maintenance object combination should be unique in the multiline.

Customer Task Card #

The number identifying the customer task card that represents the work unit (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory.

Description

The textual description of the customer task card (Alphanumeric, 80)

Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to select the task applicability. The system lists the options “Aircraft”, “Component” and “Engine”.

Maintenance Object

The maintenance object for which the task is applicable (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory.

  • You must enter part number for “Component” or “Engine” applicability and model number for “Aircraft” applicability.

  • The part number or model number must be already defined in “Part Administration” or “Aircraft” business components respectively.

  • For a part specified for “Engine” applicability, the part type of the part must be “Component” in “Part Administration” business component.

Work Unit Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type to which the work unit belongs. The system lists the options “Task”. Standard Procedure”, “Aircraft Work Package” and “Component Work Package”.

Note: Ensure that you do not select “Aircraft Work Package” for component applicability and “Component Work Package” for aircraft applicability.

Internal Work Unit #

The number given to the work unit internally by the service provider (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. Ensure the following while entering this field:

  • For a “Task” type work unit, this work unit number is already defined in “Maintenance Task” business component

  • For a “Standard Procedure” type work unit, this work unit number is already defined in “Maintenance Task” business component

  • For a “Component Work Package” type work unit, this work unit number is already defined in “Component Maintenance Program” business component

  • For a “Aircraft Work Package” type work unit, this work unit number is already defined in “Maintenance Program” business component

Note: The internal work unit number and maintenance object combination should be unique in the multiline.

The system displays the following field:

Description

The textual description of the internal work unit

Remarks

Any remark pertaining to the work unit association to the customer (Alphanumeric, 255)

Customer Task Card File Name

The name of the file that contains the customer task card details (Alphanumeric, 50)

Note: For each entered work unit # with wok unit type "Task" and “Applicability” set as "Aircraft", the system updates the base aircraft model number of the aircraft, as the “Base Aircraft Model #” in the “Maintenance Task” business component.

For each entered work unit # with wok unit type "Standard Procedure" and “Applicability” set as "Aircraft", the system updates the base aircraft model number of the aircraft, as the “Base Aircraft Model #” in the “Maintenance Task” business component.

For each entered work unit # with wok unit type "Aircraft Work Package" and “Applicability” set as "Aircraft", the system updates the base aircraft model number of the aircraft, as the “Primary Aircraft Model #” in the “Aircraft Maintenance Program” business component.

Entering customer task master details for a customer – An overview

Edit Customer Record - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to define details of the tasks associated to the maintenance objects of the customer. You can enter customer task card number, description, applicability and maintenance object information. You can specify the work unit type and the internal work unit number. Any remarks pertaining to the work unit and file name of the customer task card can be entered.
