Entering certificate details

In this page you can enter the certificates that are applicable to saleable parts identified for the customer. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Certificate Details” link at the bottom of the “Edit Sales Point Information” page.
The “Edit Certificate Details” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Customer Details” group box:

Customer # |
The code identifying the customer for which the certificate details for the saleable parts must be entered The operational status of the customer must be “Active”. |

Customer Name |
The name of the customer |
Enter the following field:

Part # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the part for which the certificate details must be defined. The system lists all the saleable parts identified for the customer. Leave this field blank to enter certificate details that are applicable to all the parts associated to the customer. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the certificate details that are already defined for the part.
Enter the following fields in the “Certificate Details” multiline:

Certificate Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the certificate applicable to the selected part. The system lists the certificate types defined in the “Create Certificate Type” activity of the “Logistics Common Master” business component. This value must be unique to the multiline. Data selection in this field is mandatory. |

The textual description of the certificate type |
Enter the following:

Remarks |
Any remark regarding the certificate issued (Alphanumeric, 255) |

File Name |
The file name of the document that contains the certificate details (Alphanumeric, 30) |
Click the “Edit Details” pushbutton to update the certificate details for the part associated with the customer.
Note: Once updated, you cannot modify the certificate type in the multiline.

You can enter the details of the certificates applicable to the saleable parts in this page.
Select the part number.
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the certificate details that are already entered for the part.
Enter the fields in the “Certificate Details” multiline.
Entering certificate details - An Overview
In this page you can enter the certificates that are applicable to saleable parts identified for the customer. There are certain parts with the attribute “Saleable” identified for the customer in the “Edit Customer Part Details” page. The system lists all those parts in this page for selection. You can select a part and furnish the certificate applicability details. You can select the certificate type, enter remarks and the file name of the certificate.
