Part #

The part for which the configuration details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40).

Search for part

Part #

The part for which the configuration details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers that are similar to the value entered here.

Base Part #

The base part number of the part for which the configuration details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the base part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose base part numbers are similar to the value entered here.

ATA # Like

The ATA chapter to which the part belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the parts whose ATA chapter numbers are similar to the value entered here.

Manufacturer

The manufacturer of the part (Alphanumeric, 45). You can enter the name of the manufacturer in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the parts whose manufacturer names are similar to the value entered here.

NHA

The parent part number of the part, which is otherwise called the next higher assembly (Alphanumeric, 40).

Config Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the part configuration for which the details are to be viewed. The system provides the following options:

 
  • Fresh – Select this option to retrieve the details of the part configuration in “Fresh” status.

 
  • Active – Select this option to retrieve the details of the part configuration in “Active” status.

 

  • Revised – Select this option to retrieve the details of the part configuration in “Revised” status. The status of the baselined part configuration becomes “Revised” when another new baseline version is created.

 

Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all parts, irrespective of their configuration status. The system sets this field to “Active” by default.

The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Base Part #

The base part number of the part.

Mod Status #

The modified part number (dash number) or the engineering order reference number due to which the part has been changed.

Manufacturer

The manufacturer of the part.

Revision #

The revision number of the part configuration with respect to the part configuration status. If the status of the part configuration is “Revised”, then the system displays the revision number of the baseline configuration.

Config Status

The status of the part configuration which could be “Fresh” or “Active” or “Revised”.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the part is associated.

Selecting part number for viewing configuration – An overview

View Part Configuration   -  A summary of the activity

This page allows you to select a part configuration to be viewed. If you know the part number for which the configuration details are to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the part number, base part number, ATA chapter number, manufacturer of the aircraft, the next higher assembly which is otherwise the parent part number, and the configuration status. The details of the selected part, such as the part number, its description, base part number, component mod status, name of the manufacturer, revision number of the part configuration and the status are displayed in the multiline.
