Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to view the details of parts that are replaced in the selected position code. Tell me more

The “View Part Number Modification History” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Model Details” group box:

Aircraft Model #

The aircraft model for which the part modification history is displayed.

Configuration Class

The configuration class to which the aircraft model is associated.

Revision #

The revision number of the model configuration.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” group box:

Position Code

The position code in the model configuration for which the part modification details are displayed.

Level Code

The level at which the position code and the existing part occurs in the model configuration hierarchy.

Existing Part #

The part number that is currently placed in the position code.

NHA

The next higher assembly or the parent part

The system displays the following fields in the “Part Modification Details” multiline:

Previous Part #

The part that was previously placed in the position code.

NHA

The next higher assembly or the parent part number of the part displayed in the “Previous Part #” field.

Revision #

The revision number of the model configuration when the part was previously associated to the position code.

Revision Date

The date on which the model configuration was previously revised to associate the part to the position code.

Reference EO #

The number identifying the engineering order that initiated the part replacement in the position code.

Viewing part modification history for model configuration – An overview

View Model Configuration - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the details of parts that are replaced in the position code selected in the “View Model Configuration” page. You can view the part numbers that were originally associated to the position code in the model configuration, which have been replaced due to engineering order document in this page. Engineering Order is a document, which contains the information about different engineering changes that has to be carried out on the maintenance object (model, aircraft, part or component). Typically an engineering change involves modification of the part numbers. For more details on creating engineering orders, refer the topic “Create Engineering Order – An overview”.

In this page, the system displays the level code, position code and the existing part number. Details such as the part numbers that were previously fitted in the position code, the parent part number, the revision number, revised date and the engineering order number that caused the revision are displayed in the multiline.
