In this page, you can view the changes made to the model configuration and the different entities that are affected by the changes in the configuration. Details such as, the entities affected, the actual value of the affected entities, the action performed on the entity and the actual change that has taken place, are displayed.

The “Compare Aircraft Model Configuration Revisions” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Model Details” group box:

Aircraft Model #

The aircraft model for which the configuration modification details are displayed.

Configuration Class

The configuration class to which the aircraft model is associated.

Current Revision #

The current revision number of the model configuration.

Previous Revision #

Use the drop-down list box to select the revision number of the model configuration for which you wish to view the modification details. The system lists all the revision numbers of the model configuration, including the baseline revision number.

The system displays the following fields in the “Modification Details” multiline:

Entity Affected

The entity affected as a result of the changes made to the model configuration. The system displays one of the following “Position Code”, “Part” or “Configuration Class”.

Entity Value

The actual position code, part number or configuration class that has been affected due to the modification in the model configuration.

Action

The system displays “Added” or “Modified” to indicate whether the position code, part number or the configuration class was added or modified.

Change Information

The system displays “Status Changed” or “Association Effected” to indicate the actual change made to the position code, part number or configuration class.
