Help on model configuration

This page allows you to retrieve the aircraft model configuration details. And you can select the aircraft model from which the configuration details are to be copied. You can carry out a search based on the aircraft model or the configuration class. The details of the selected aircraft model such as its number, configuration class associated to the model, revision number and aircraft make are displayed.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Aircraft Model #” field in the main screen.

The “Help on Model Configuration” page appears.

Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for an aircraft model. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model for which the configuration details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft models that are similar to the value entered here.
Configuration Class	The configuration class to which the aircraft model is associated (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the configuration class in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the aircraft models that are associated to the configuration class entered here.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

Note: The system retrieves the model configurations that are in “Active” status based on the filter criteria entered.

The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Aircraft Model #	The number identifying the aircraft model.
Configuration Class	The configuration class to which the aircraft model is associated.
Revision #	The revision number of the model configuration.
Manufacturer #	The manufacturer of the aircraft.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the aircraft model.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
