Entering spare part position details for model configuration – An overview

Build Model Configuration - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can add or modify the position code details for the spare parts identified in the model. The position codes can be created manually or generated by the system. For trackable spare parts, the system generates the position codes using the prefix that you have specified and the suffix as numbers starting from 1. For example, if you have specified the prefix as “BRG” and the quantity of spare parts as “3”, the system generates the position codes BRG01, BRG02 and BRG03. For non-trackable spare parts, you can enter the position codes manually and modify them whenever needed.

You can modify the quantity of the spare part required for the model configuration and add or modify the position codes for the spare parts and the status of the position code.

The system updates the details of the position codes for the spare part and stores the name of the currently logged in user and the current server date.
