Initiate Claims - A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to retrieve all the parts that are eligible for claim generation, and generate claim for the retrieved parts. You can select a record in the multiline by performing search based on the display option, processing status, failed part number, failed part description, failed serial number, failed lot number, ATA number, reason for removal, affected aircraft registration number, discrepancy category, affected component number, supplier number, reference document type, reference document number, date basis and from/to date.

The segregation based on which parts can be retrieved for claim is specified in the Display Option. The system retrieves different records in the multiline based on the combination of the Display Option and the Reference Document Type specified in the search criteria. A claim document is generated for the selected record based on the Claim Generation Option which could be Line Item Wise, Supplier Part Wise or Supplier Wise.
