Selecting deferment requests for modifying or viewing status

This page allows you to search and select a deferment request to modify or view its status. Tell me more

Select the “Inquire Deferment Request Status” link under the “Visit Package” business component.

The “Select Deferment Request” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for deferment request.

Deferment Request #	The number that identifies the deferment request (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the deferment number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the deferment requests whose number is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests defined in the system.
Aircraft Reg #	The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the aircraft registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the deferment requests associated with the aircraft specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests, irrespective of the aircraft.
Visit Package #	The number identifying the visit package (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the deferment requests associated with the visit package specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests, irrespective of the visit package.
Work Center #	Use the drop-down list box to specify the place of maintenance execution to which the visit package is associated. The system retrieves all the deferment requests, which are raised in the work center specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the deferment requests, irrespective of the primary work centers.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the deferment request. The system provides the option, “Fresh”, “Confirmed” or “Processed”. The system retrieves all the deferment requests whose status is similar to the status specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests, irrespective of the status of the deferment request.
Job Type	Use the drop-down list box to specify the job type of the work unit. The system provides the option, “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” and a blank value. The system retrieves all the deferment requests in which the job type is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests, irrespective of the type of job.

The system fetch all the records that satisfy the search criteria you specified. If no search criteria have been specified, the system retrieves all the records.

Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for deferment requests based on the search criteria.

Note: Leave all the fields in the “Search Criteria” group box blank, to retrieve all the deferment requests in “Fresh”, “Confirmed” or “Processed” status.

The system displays the following field in the “Search Details” group box:

Deferment Request #	The deferment request retrieved by the system.
Status	The status of the deferment request, which could be “Fresh”, Confirmed” or “Processed”.
Aircraft Reg #	The registration number of the aircraft.
Visit Package #	The number identifying the visit package.
Revision #	The revision number of the visit package.
Work Center #	The work center where the visit package has to be executed.
Grounding Date	The date on which the aircraft is grounded for the execution of maintenance activities.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the deferment request to modify or view the selected deferment request details.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “Edit Deferment Request Details” link at the bottom of the page to modify the details of the selected deferment requests.
Select the “View Deferment Request Details” link at the bottom of the page to view the details of the selected deferment requests.

The system retrieves the deferment requests, which are in “Fresh”, “Confirmed” or “Processed” status, based on the search criteria.
