Modifying visit category
In this page, you modify the description and the status of the visit categories that are already defined
Select the “Edit Visit Category” link under the “Compliance Tracking & Control” business component.
The “Edit Visit Category” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following field in the “Visit Category Details” in the multiline:

The code that identifies the visit category |
Enter the following fields:
Description |
The textual description of the visit category (Alphanumeric, 225). Mandatory |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the visit category to either “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable this visit category code from future reference in other activities. |
The system displays the following:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the visit category |
Created Date |
The date on which the visit category was created |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the visit category |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the visit category was last modified |
Click the “Edit Visit Category” pushbutton, to update the modified details of the visit categories.
Activate or inactivate visit categories
Activate or inactivate visit categories
You can change the status of the visit categories from “Active” to “Inactive” or vice versa. The visit categories in the “Inactive” status will not be available for further reference in other activities.
Set the “Status” as “Active”, if you wish to change the status to “Active”.
Set the status as “Inactive”, if you wish to change the status to “Inactive”.
Click the “Edit Visit Category” pushbutton, to change the status.
