Creating reason category
In this page, you can create a deferment request for a selected work unit(s).
Select the “Create Reason Category” link under the “Compliance Tracking & Control” business component.
The “Create Reason Category Details” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Reason Category Details” multiline:

The unique identifier of the reason category (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. This field can be a combination of characters and digits. Ensure that the category is unique for the organizational unit. |
Description |
The textual description of the category (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the reason categories for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected reason categories.
Click the "Create Reason Category" pushbutton at the bottom of the page, to create the reason categories.
Note:Note: The system creates the reason categories and sets the status as “Active". The system stores the name of the login user. It stores the current server date as the “Created Date”.

You can create different reason categories by assigning a unique number and description to it. These are later used to classify the reasons for deferring work units.
Enter the reason category code in the “Reason Category” field.
Enter the description for the reason category in the “Description” field.
Click the “Create Reason Category” pushbutton, to create the reason category.
