When a component work order or task is delayed, you can attach a work delay code to it, which defines the reason for work delay. This Help page allows you to search and select a work delay code. You can carry out the search using the work delay number, delay description or delay category to retrieve the work delay codes. The system retrieves all the work delay codes, which are in the “Active” status, based on the search criteria entered. The selected work delay code is transferred to the required page, when it is confirmed.

Work Delay #

The work delay code for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists the work delay codes that are similar to the values entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all work delay codes.

Delay Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the delay code to be retrieved. The system lists the work delay codes of type “Delay Category” and in “Active” status as defined in the “Component Work Reporting” business component. Leave this field blank to retrieve delay details irrespective of their category. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Work Delay Description

The description of the work delay code to be retrieved. Enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character (Alphanumeric, 80). The system lists all the work delay codes whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all work delay codes, irrespective of the delay description.

The work delay code retrieved by the system.

Delay Description

The textual description of the work delay code.

Delay Category

The quick code that defines the category of the work delay code.
