This page allows you to view the details of the work units that must be performed for the rectification of defect in the component. Tell me more.

The “View Corrective Work Units” page appears.

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Note: Ensure that atleast one of the tasks is selected in the “Work Unit Details” multiline in the previous page.

The system displays the following details in the “CWO Details” group box:

Component Work Order #

The component work order for which the corrective work unit details are displayed.

Maintenance Type

The maintenance type to which the component work order belongs.

CWO Description

The textual description of the component work order.

Work Center #

The work center that is responsible for component work order execution.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Part Serial #

The serial number of the component against which the component work order is raised.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Component #

The component against which the component work order is raised.

The system displays the following details in the “Discrepancy Details” group box:

Reason for Removal

The reason for the component removal.

Removal Type

The type to which the removal belongs.

Discrepancy #

The number identifying the discrepancy.

Component Condition

The defective component condition. The system displays one of the following:

 
  • Ready for Service – indicates that the defective component is ready for service.

 
  • To Repair – indicates that the defective component must be sent for repair.

 
  • To Scrap – indicates that the defective component must be sent to scrap.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Part Serial #

The serial number of the component.

Fault Description

The textual description of the fault.

Remedial Action

The remedial action that must be carried out on the defective component.

The system displays the following details in the “Work Unit Details” multiline:

Work Unit Type

The type of the work unit, which could be “Task” or “Standard Procedure”.

Work Unit #

The number identifying the work unit that must be performed on the defective component.

Work Unit Desc

The textual description of the work unit.

Component Work Order #

The component work order to which the work units are added.

Status

Viewing corrective work units – An overview

View Component Work Order - A summary of the activity

After inspection, for carrying out the remedial action on the defective component, certain work units need to be performed. Such work units are identified and associated to the CWO in the “Author Work Units” page of the “Report Inspection Findings” activity. You can view those work units that are identified for the defective component in this page.

The discrepancy details such as the reason for component removal, the type of removal, discrepancy number, condition of the component, part number, serial number, fault description and remedial action are displayed. Details of work units such as the work unit type, work unit number, description, CWO number and the status of the work unit in the CWO are displayed in the multiline.
