Stock Status

Note: If the job type of the CWO is “Piece part” and the part number, serial number, lot number and material type details have been specified, the system retrieves those details in the multiline below.

If the job type of the CWO is “Component”, and “Main core” field is set as “Required”, the system retrieves the serial number, lot number and material type details of the part number in the multiline.

Seq #

The order of preference for the serial number and lot number specified in the multiline (Integer). Ensure that the sequence number is positive and is unique in the multiline.

If you leave the sequence number blank, the system automatically assigns a sequence number to each row, in the order in which they are entered in the multiline, on clicking the “Edit Preferred Information” pushbutton. Ensure that you do not leave it blank for any of the serial or lot numbers occurring in between.

Serial #

The preferred serial number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). The serial number must be a valid serial number defined in the “Stock Maintenance” business component.

Help facility available.

Note: Ensure that a unique serial number is entered for the part number, if the part is of a different material type.

Lot #

Available in Warehouse

Indicates whether the part is available in the warehouse or not. The system displays “Yes” if the quantity available is more than zero. Otherwise, the system displays “No”.

Qty.

The quantity of parts required (Decimal). The quantity entered should be a positive value. If the part type is “Kit” or “Component”, the quantity entered should not be in fractions. This field is mandatory if you have entered a serial number and lot number. If the part is serial number-controlled, ensure that the quantity entered is ‘1’.

The system displays ‘1’ by default, if the requested part is serial  controlled or serial and lot controlled. If the part is lot controlled, the system displays the “Required Quantity” displayed in the “CWO Details” group box by default.

Note: The sum of the quantity entered in the multiline must be lesser than or equal to the quantity displayed in the “Required Quantity” field in the “Work Order Details” group box.

The system displays the following:

Expiry Date

The date of expiry of the part.

Material Status

The material status of the part, which can be one of the following:

a. If the issue setting for CWO in “Logistics Common Master” business component is set as “Issue only against MR”, the system displays one of the following statuses:

§          “Partially requested” - Indicates that the Material Request is not raised for all the parts that have been identified as requirements.

§          “Requested” - Indicates that the Material Request is completely raised for all the parts that have been identified as requirements.

§          “Partially issued” - Indicates that the Material Issues are not done for all the parts that have been identified as requirements.

§          “Issued” - Indicates that the Material is completely issued for all the parts that have been identified as requirements.

§          “Hard Allocated” - Indicates that the required parts are completely hard allocated in the “Stock Maintenance” business component.

For parts with planning type as ’Disposition’, the system displays “Not Planned” if none of the material requirements of the work order are reserved. If more than one planning status exists, the system displays the lowest status in the hierarchy.

Condition

The condition of the part.

Note: Ensure that at least one record is selected in the multiline.

Note: Ensure that no part transaction has been recorded for the serial number and lot number combination of the part for the specific work order and task combination.

The system does not delete the selected records under the following circumstances:

If the preferred serial number and/or lot number is deleted for a part against a CWO/CWO-Task, then the system changes the requirement type of the part from “Specific” to “Normal”.

Note: For main core items, the sum of the quantity in the multiline should be equal to the required qty for a particular part # if the Material Type entered for that part is "Main Core".
