This page allows you to retrieve the details of a parent component work order. You can carry out a search based on the CWO number, maintenance type of CWO, part number, component number, category of the CWO, work center, status of CWO, user-status of CWO, and the start and end dates for CWO execution. Details such as CWO number, maintenance type, part number, serial number, CWO description, status of CWO, child CWO count, work center, CWO description, category of CWO, user-status, planned start and end dates are displayed.

The “Help on Parent Component Work Order” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Comp. Work Order #

The number of the parent component work order for which the details must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the CWO number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all CWO numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

Maintenance Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance type of the parent component work order to be retrieved. The system lists all the types defined as “Maintenance Type” in the “Common Master” business component. The system retrieves the CWO number of the maintenance type specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve the CWOs irrespective of their maintenance types. By default, this field is left blank.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all CWO numbers whose values are similar to the value entered here.

Component #

The number identifying the component against which the parent CWO is raised (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number  in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all CWO numbers whose values are similar to the value entered here.

CWO Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the CWO category. The system lists all the active quick codes of type “CWO category” defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. The system retrieves the CWO number of the CWO category specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve the CWOs irrespective of their category.

Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to select the work center, which is responsible for the parent CWO execution. The system lists all the active work centers that are associated with the login organizational unit. The system retrieves the CWO number of the work center specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve the CWOs irrespective of their work centers. By default, this field is left blank.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the parent CWO. The system lists the following options:

 
  • Fresh – Select this option to retrieve the details of a fresh parent CWO.

 
  • Scheduled – Select this option to retrieve the details of a scheduled parent CWO.

 
  • In-Progress – Select this option to retrieve the details of the parent CWO that is in progress.

 

  • Completed - Select this option to retrieve the details of the parent CWO that is completed.

 

  • Closed– Select this option to retrieve the details of the CWO that is closed.

 

By default, this field is left blank.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the user status of the parent CWO. The system lists all the active quick codes of the type “User Status” defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. The system retrieves the CWO number of the user status specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve the CWOs irrespective of their user statuses. By default, this field is left blank.

Planned Date: From

The date on which the parent component work order execution must be started (Date Format). The system lists all the CWOs that have planned start dates on or after the date entered in this field.

Planned Date: To

The date on which the parent component work order execution must be completed (Date Format). The system lists all the CWOs that have planned end dates on or before the date entered in this field.

Note: Ensure that the date entered in the “Planned Date: From” is not later than the date entered in the “Planned Date: To” field.

If you leave all the fields blank, the system retrieves all the parent component work orders created in the login organizational unit that are in the “Fresh”,  “Scheduled”, “In-Progress”, or “Completed” status.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Comp. Work Order #

The parent component work order number.

Maintenance  Type

The maintenance type of the parent component work order.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Serial #

The serial number of the component against which the parent component work order is raised.

Planned End Date

The date on which the parent component work order must be completed.

CWO Status

The status of the parent component work order, which could be “Fresh”, “Scheduled”, “In-Progress”, “Completed” or "Closed".

Child CWO Count

The number of child CWOs of the parent component work order.

Work Center #

The work center that is responsible for parent CWO execution.

CWO Description

The textual description of the parent component work order.

CWO Category

The category of the parent component work order.

User Status

The user-defined status of the parent component work order.

Planned Start Date

The date on which the parent component work order must be started.
