Entering reference document details for CWO
This page allows you to record reference information for the selected component work order. The execution of the component work order might involve referencing of previously executed documents, manuals, drawings, etc. These details are recorded as reference information in this page.
You can specify the document type, the reference document number and the description. The system updates the details and stores the name of the currently logged in user and the current server date.
Select the “Edit References” link at the bottom of the main page.
The “Edit References Information” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “CWO Details” group box:

The component work order for which you wish to enter the references information |
CWO Description |
The textual description of the component work order. Zoom facility available. |
Enter the following information:
Task # |
Use the drop down list box to select the task number for which document references have to be specified. The system lists all task numbers associated to the component work order. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve reference document details for the task number selected.
The system displays the following information:
Task Description |
The textual description of the task. Zoom facility available. |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center where the component work order was raised. |
Enter the following in the “Reference Document Details” multiline:
Reference Doc Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the document to which the reference document belongs. The system lists all the document types defined in the "Create Reference Document Type" activity of the “Common Master” business component. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
File Name |
The name of the file that contains the reference document details (Alphanumeric, 50). |
Document ID |
The number identifying the document that must be referred during CWO execution (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory. Once associated to the CWO, the reference document number cannot be modified. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the reference document for deletion.
Click the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the reference document selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit References” pushbutton to update the reference document details.
Select the “View File” link at the bottom of the multiline to view the file details.
