The “Reallocate Material” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

  • If you have specified a quantity in the “Add Quantity” field, the system adds the quantity to the actual quantity of the part reserved for the work order.

Selectively reserving parts for the CWO – An overview

Plan Component Work Order - A summary of the activity

Selective reservation is done for a component work order according to the specific requirements. For example, if there is an urgent need for parts for a CWO and the parts are not available in the inventory, you can remove the reservation of the same part from another CWO and add the parts to the current CWO. You can selectively reserve the part that you have selected in the “Plan Material” page.

The system retrieves all the component work orders to which the part has been allocated, in the multiline. You can remove parts from one component work order and reserve it for another component work order. The system automatically adds or deducts the reserved quantity of the part from the respective component work orders.
