This page allows you to create quick codes for the "Component Work Order" business component. Tell me more.
Select the “Create Quick Codes” link under the “Component Work Order” business component.
The “Create Quick Codes” page appears.
Enter the following field:
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of quick code to be created. The system provides the options, “Indirect Category”, “User Status”, “Delay Category”, “CWO – Option 1”, “CWO – Option 2”, “CWO – Option 3”, “CWO – Option 4”, "Inspection Option 1", "Inspection Option 2", and "Inspection Option 3" . The system sets the field to "User Status” by default. |
Note: The system also lists all quick codes defined for the quick code type “Workscope Category” in the “Component Maintenance Planning” business component, as quick codes for the “CWO Category” type.
Enter the following fields in the” Quick Code Details” multiline:
Quick Code |
A unique identifier for the quick code (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. This can be a combination of characters and digits and should not be left blank. Ensure that the quick code is unique for the organizational unit. |
Note: If there are multiple installations of this business component in different organizational units, then the uniqueness of the quick code will depend on the organizational model. Refer systems manual for more details.

The textual description for the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. This field should not be left blank. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the quick code for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the quick codes selected in the multiline.
Click the “Create Quick Codes” pushbutton to create the quick codes.
Note: The system creates quick codes, sets the status of the created quick codes as “Active” and the created date as the current server date.
