Viewing rogue unit details for a part
In this page, you can view the rogue unit details of the part. Tell me more.
Select the “View Rogue Units” link under the “Component Reliability” business component.
The “View Rogue Unit Details” page appears.
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Period Details” group box:
Month |
Use the drop-down list box to select the month of the reliability period. The system displays all the months with the span of the reliability period. The system displays ”Jan” as the default value. |
Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the year of the reliability period. The system displays all the values of the year in the ascending order within the span of "Valid From Year" and "Valid To Year" as defined for the selected calendar. |
Enter the following filter criteria in the “View Criteria” group box to search for a part. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Part # |
The part for which the rogue unit details must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the part has already been defined for the type “Component” in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component and is in the “Active” status. |
Serial # |
The number identifying the serial number of the part, (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component # whose serial numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
Component # |
The component ID for which the rogue unit details are to be viewed. (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the component numbers that are similar to the value entered here. |
Component Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type to which the component belongs, which could be “Engine”, “APU”, “Landing Gear” or “Others”. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part (Alphanumeric, 150). Zoom facility available. |
ATA # |
The number identifying the ATA chapter to which the component belongs. (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all parts belonging to the ATA chapter entered here. |
Supplier Part # |
The code identifying the supplier part number (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the parts that have supplier part numbers similar to the value entered here. |
Supplier # |
The number that identifies the supplier (Alphanumeric, 45). |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve rogue unit details.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Rogue Unit Details” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

The number that identifies the supplier whose details you need to monitor. |

The reason for declaring the current component as 'Rogue' which could be “Confirmed Failure”,”No Fault Found”, ”MTBF or “MTBUR” |
