This tab enables to map the Employees to shift/duty pattern. This tab also displays the ‘Day1 shift/duty’ hyperlink for a shift/duty pattern once the applicable shift/duty is mapped to it.

Shift/Duty Pattern

Use the drop-down list box to select the shift/duty pattern.

Search By

Use the drop-down list box to select the value based on which the shift/duty pattern details are to be retrieved. The system lists the values ‘Employee’, ‘Roster Group’, ‘Work Center’ and ‘Job Classification’ along with a blank value.

The system leaves the field blank, by default.

The system enables or disables the second and third fields based on the value selected in the first drop-down list box

Shift/Duty Pattern

The pattern of the shift/duty #. Mandatory.

The system displays the following field:

Description

The description of the shift/duty pattern.

Employee #

The number identifying the employee. Mandatory.

Help facility available.

The system displays the following field:

Employee Name

The name of the employee.

Effective From

The date from which the shift/duty pattern is effective. Mandatory.

Effective To

The date until which the shift/duty pattern is effective.

The system displays the following fields:

Day1 Shift/Duty

The shift/duty and the day 1 shift/duty mapping of the shift/duty pattern. Click the hyperlink to launch the “Applicable Shift/Duty” pop-up. If the shift/duty and day 1 shift/duty is mapped, then the system displays the value ‘Yes’. If the shift/duty and day 1 shift/duty is not mapped, the system displays the value ‘No’.

Job Classification

The job classification of the Employee as defined in the “HRMS Components” business process.

Remarks

The textual description regarding the shift/duty pattern and employee mapping.
