Moving Parts between Positions

This Pop-up will enable the users to select the identified positions and move them under another NHA position, provided the NHA position is configured and made available in the parent configuration (Aircraft / Component). The NHA of the moved components will be updated in their latest attachment CR or ARL record and the moved positions will be deleted from the old NHA position. Any new CR will not be generated since it is not physically happened.
Bulk movement of parts will happen in a scheduled process. The moved components will be tracked under new NHA position from their latest attachment date.
Select the “Move Parts between Positions” link in the “Initialize & Update Configuration” page.
The “Move Parts between Positions” Pop-up appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Maint. Object Details" section:

Maint. Object Type |
The type of the maintenance object that is to be moved. |

Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft in which the parts are moved between the identified positions. |
|
Component # |
The number identifying the component from which the parts are moved to the new NHA position. |
|
Part # |
The part number of the component. |
|
Serial # |
The serial number of the component. |
|
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Movement Details" multiline:

Position Code |
The position code in the aircraft/component configuration in which the component to be moved is currently attached to. |

Level Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the level code in which the component to be moved is currently attached to. |

Part # |
The part number of the component to be moved. |
|
Serial # |
The serial number of the component to be moved. |
|
Component # |
The number identifying the component which is moved to the new NHA position. |
Enter the following fields:

NHA Position Code |
The position code in the aircraft/component configuration under which the component is to be moved. |

Position Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the position type of the position that is being moved to the new location. The system lists the values ‘Others’, ‘APU’, ‘Engine’, ‘Landing Gear, and ‘Cabin’. |

NHA Part # |
The part number of the component, in the next higher assembly under which the component is to be moved. |
|
NHA Serial # |
The serial number of the parent part. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Movement Details" multiline:

NHA Component # |
The parent component number in the next higher assembly under which the component is to be moved. |

Movement # |
The movement tracking number to track the moved components. |
Enter the following fields in the "Default Details" section:

Move To |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis for movement of parts. The system lists the options ‘Specified NHA’ and ‘Top Assembly’. The system displays the value ‘Specified NHA’, by default. |

Remarks |
Any textual description entered by the user. |
Click the "Move Parts” pushbutton to move parts from one position to another position without removing and attaching the parts in a configuration to change or correct structure of the configuration.
