You can select a component replacement transaction and view its details. Tell me more.

The “Select Component Replacement #” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Component Replacement #

The component replacement transaction number for which the details are to be viewed.

To search for the component replacement transaction

Component Replacement #

The component replacement transaction number for which you wish to view the details. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transaction numbers that are similar to the values entered here.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the component replacement transaction, which could be "Fresh", "Removed", "Replaced", "Removal Reversed", "Installation Reversed", “Error”, “Error-Removed”, “Error-Replaced” or "Cancelled". The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of the component replacement transaction irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default.

If you set the field to “Error”, the system retrieves all the component replacement transactions in “Error-Removed” or “Error-Replaced” status.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the component replacement details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions for the aircraft whose registration numbers are similar to the values entered here.

Alternately, you can also enter Nose # in the field. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character, similar to A/C Reg #.

The smart search retrieves component replacements associated with aircraft with Nose # similar to that you have entered in the field.

Position Code

The position code for which the component replacement details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions for the part whose position codes are similar to the value entered here.

Removed Part #

The part number for which the component replacement details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions for the part whose numbers are similar to the values entered here.

Removed Sr #

The serial number of the part for which the component replacement transaction are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions generated for the serial numbers that are similar to the values entered here.

Removed Part Description

Enter the description of the removed part for which the component replacement details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions generated for the part whose description are similar to the description entered here.

Component #

The component number for which the replacement transaction are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions generated for the component numbers that are similar to the values entered here.

SOS Disposition

Use the drop-down list box to select the SOS Disposition of the part for which removal details must be altered. The drop-down list displays the following: Confirmed Failure, Suspected Failure, No Fault Found and Not Applicable.

The system retrieves all component replacement transactions generated for parts whose SOS disposition is the same as that you specify.

Note: The SOS Disposition search criterion is available only if the "SOS Program Applicability" is set to “'Not Applicable” in the Set Options activity of the Common Masters component.

Removal From Date

The starting date in the range of dates in which the component removal date falls (Date Format). The date entered here should be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field.

Removal To Date

The ending date in the range of dates in which the component removal date falls (Date Format). The date entered here should be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field and must be later than the “Removal From Date”.

Installation From Date

The starting date in the range of dates in which the component installation date falls (Date Format). The date entered here should be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field.

Installation To Date

The ending date in the range of dates in which the component installation date falls (Date Format). The date entered here should be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field and must be later than the “Installation From Date”.

Include Non-Component CR?

Select the check box to enable search to also retrieve component replacements involving non-components. However, do not select the box, if you wish to retrieve component replacements associated with components alone.

Note: The system lists all the component replacement transactions in the multiline if all the search criteria fields are left blank.

Note: It will fetch the CRs generated in the work centers for which the user has rights as defined in the work center business component.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Component Replacement #

The number identifying the component replacement transaction.

Status

The status of the component replacement transaction, which could be "Fresh", "Removed", "Replaced", "Removal Reversed", "Installation Reversed", "Error-Removed", "Error-Replaced" or "Cancelled".

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the component replacement details are to be viewed.

Position Code

The position code from which the part was removed.

Removed Component #

The component ID of the removed part number and the serial number.

Removed Part #

The part that was removed.

Removed Serial #

The serial number of the part that was removed.  

SOS Disposition

The SOS disposition of the part, such as Confirmed Failure, Suspected Failure, No Fault Found or Not Applicable.

Removed Part Description

The textual description of the removed part.

Installed Component #

The component ID identifying the installed part number and the serial number combination.

Installed Part #

The part ID of the installed component.

Installed Serial #

The serial ID of the installed component.

Removed Remarks

Additional information on the component removal.

Installed Part Description

The description of the installed part.

Removal Date

The date on which the part was removed from the position code.

Installation Date

The date on which the new part is installed in the position code.

Selecting component replacement transaction for viewing – An overview

Amend CR Details - A summary of the activity

You can select a component replacement transaction and view its details. If you know the component replacement transaction number to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the component replacement transaction number, its status, aircraft registration number, position code, removed part number, serial number, part description, part removal or installation date. The details of the selected component replacement transaction, such as the number, status, position code, component ID, removed part, serial number, part description, part removal and installation date are displayed.
