Component Replacement is a document, which contains information as to which part number and serial number is removed or which part number and serial number is installed. Whenever a component is replaced with another component, the system generates a unique number to identify the component replacement transaction. This replacement transaction provides input for tracking the reliability of the component.
This page helps you to search for the component replacement transaction number. You can search for the component replacement using CR #, status, aircraft registration number, station number, outgoing part number, outgoing serial number, part description, component number, a range of removal and installation dates. The system displays the component replacement transaction based on the search filter criteria.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Component Replacement #” field in the main page.
The “Help On Component Replacement #” page appears.
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a component replacement transaction. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Component Replacement # |
The number identifying the component replacement transaction you need to retrieve. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transaction whose numbers that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the component replacement transactions except those which are in the “Cancelled” status. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the component replacement transaction that you need to retrieve. The system lists "Fresh", "Removed", "Replaced", "Removal Reversed" and "Installation Reversed", as options. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of the component replacement transaction irrespective of their status. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft registration number for which you need to retrieve the component replacement details (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions for the aircraft whose registration numbers are similar to the values entered here. Leave this field to retrieve component replacement transactions irrespective of the aircraft registration number. |
Station # |
The station where the component replacement was done or must be carried out. The system lists all the “Active” stations that are defined in the “Create Station” activity of the “Common Master” business component. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions carried out in the specified station. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the component replacement transactions, except those which are in the “Cancelled” status, irrespective of the Station Number. |
Outgoing Part # |
The part number for which you need to retrieve the component replacement details (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions for the part whose numbers are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve component replacement transactions irrespective of the outgoing part number. |
Outgoing Serial # |
The serial number of the part for which you need to retrieve the component replacement details (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions generated for the serial numbers that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve component replacement transactions irrespective of the outgoing serial number. |
Part Description |
The part description for which the component replacement details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the part description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions generated for the part whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve component replacement transactions irrespective of the part description. |
Component # |
The component number for which you need to retrieve the replacement transactions (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions generated for the component numbers that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve component replacement transactions irrespective of the component number. |
Removal From Date |
The starting date in the range of dates in which the component removal date falls (Date Format). The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions from the specified removal date till the current server date. |
Removal To Date |
The ending date in the range of dates in which the component removal date falls (Date Format). The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions till the specified removal date. |
Note” Ensure the “Removal From Date” is less than the “Removal To Date”.
Installation From Date |
The starting date in the range of dates in which the component installation date falls (Date Format). The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions from the specified installation date till the current server date. |
Installation To Date |
The ending date in the range of dates in which the component installation date falls (Date Format). The system retrieves all the component replacement transactions till the specified installation date. |
Note” Ensure the “Installation From Date” is less than the “Installation To Date”.
Note: Leave all the fields blank, to retrieve all the component replacements in the descending order of the removal date.
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for the component replacement transactions.

Reason # |
The reasons for removing the part from the position code. |
Removal Date |
The date on which the part was removed from the position code. |
Removal Time |
The time on which the part was removed from the position code. |
Installation Date |
The date on which the new part is installed in the position code. |
Installation Time |
The time on which the new part is installed in the position code. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the component replacement transaction.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
