Help on planner group
This page allows you to retrieve the details of a planner group created earlier. You can carry out a search using the planner group, description, planner category, component number, component family, ATA chapter number, part number and the status of the planner group.
Details such as the planner group, description, planner category, status, planning object type, number of users and the number of components associated with the planner group will be displayed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Planner Group” field in the main screen
The “Help on Planner Group” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a planner group. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Planner Group # |
The number identifying the planner group that you wish to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the planner group number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Description |
The textual description of the planner group (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full, or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |
Planner Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined category to which the planner belongs. The system lists all the 'active' planner categories created in the "Create Quick Codes" activity. The system retrieves the planner groups of the category specified here. |
Component Family |
The component family with which the planner group is associated (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the component family number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers associated to the component family number entered here. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter number with which the planner group is associated (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers associated to the ATA chapter number entered here. |
Part # |
The part number with which the planner group is associated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the planner group numbers associated to the part number entered here. |
Component # |
The number identifying the component for which the planner group details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the planner group, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Click the "Search" pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the "Search Results" multiline:
Planner Group # |
The number that identifies the planner group defined in the system. |
Description |
The textual description of the planner group. |
Planner Category |
The category to which the planner group belongs. |
Status |
The status of the planner group, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Planning Object Type |
The type of the planning object associated with the planner group, which could be "ATA #", "Part #", "Component #" or "Component Family". |
Number of Users |
The total number of users associated with the planner group. |
No. Of Components |
The number of components associated with the planner group. |
