Editing aircraft utilization details for forecast
This page allows you to enter the aircraft utilization details for the forecast. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Utilization Factor” link at the bottom of the “Re-forecast Component Arisings” page.
The “Edit Aircraft Utilization Factor" page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the "Forecast Details" group box:
Planner Group # |
The number identifying the planner group that created the forecast |
Description |
The textual description of the planner group |
Forecast # |
The number identifying the forecast that must be revised |
Planning Object Type |
The type of the planning object which could be "Part #", "Component #", "ATA #" or "Component Family" |
Forecast Start Date |
The starting date of the forecast |
Forecast End Date |
The ending date of the forecast |
The system displays the following fields in the "Aircraft Utilization Details" multiline:
Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft registration number that is associated with the planner group |
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model to which the aircraft belongs |
Lead Parameter |
The lead parameter identified for the aircraft in the “Aircraft” business component |
The system displays the following field as retrieved from the “Aircraft” business component:
Modify the following field, if required:
Average Value |
The average value of the lead parameter, based on which the forecast factor is calculated (Decimal) |
This value should be positive.
Click the “Edit Utilization Factor" pushbutton to update the aircraft utilization factor details.
Editing aircraft utilization details – An overview
This page allows you to enter the aircraft utilization details for the forecast. The forecast factor is determined based on the average value of the lead parameter entered in this page.
On launching the page, the system displays the details of the aircraft associated with the planner group in the multiline. The lead parameter and the average value of the lead parameter as updated in the “Aircraft” are displayed in the multiline. You can edit the average value for determining the forecast factor.

Modify the aircraft utilization value
You can enter the modified value of the lead parameter for the aircraft. The forecast for the component will be based on the modified value.
Enter the modified average value in the “Average Value” field.
