Selecting forecast for processing re-forecast details
This page enables you to select the forecast for processing the re-forecast details. Tell me more.
Select the “Process Re- forecast” link under the “Component Maintenance Planning” business component.
The “Select Forecast” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a forecast: (Data entry in the following fields is optional.)
Component # |
The component number for which the re-forecasting is done (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the forecasts with the component number entered here. |
Planner Group # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the number of the planner group which re-forecasted the maintenance arisings on the component. The system lists all the active planner groups that are associated with the login user. The system leaves this field blank by default. |
Work Scope # |
The number identifying the work scope that is associated with the forecast (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the work scope number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the forecast numbers with the work scope number entered here. |
Work Scope Execution Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the execution unit in which the work scope will be executed. The system lists all the organization units where the component maintenance planning can be done and the component work orders can be created. The system retrieves all the forecast numbers with the work scope execution unit specified here. |
Work Scope Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined category to which the work scope belongs. The system lists all the 'active' work scope categories created in the "Create Quick Codes" activity. The system retrieves all the forecast numbers with the work scope category specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all forecast numbers, irrespective of the work scope category. |
Primary Work Center # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the number identifying the primary work center responsible for work scope execution. The system lists all the work centers associated to the organization units where the component maintenance planning is done. The system leaves this field blank by default. |
Click the "Search" pushbutton to display the search results.

Check the box in the multiline to select the work scope for processing the re-forecast details.
Select the “Process Re- forecast” link at the bottom of the page to process the Re- forecast.

This page enables you to select the forecast for processing the re-forecast details. You can carry out a search for the forecast by specifying the component number, planner group number, work scope number, work scope execution unit, work scope category and primary work center in the search criteria. The system retrieves the work scopes that are created by the planner group are retrieved in the multiline.
