The pending work units can be assigned to a component work order in this page. You can select the work units and assign them to the component work order.

The “Assign Jobs to Existing CWO” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Work Scope Details” group box:

Component Work Order #

The number identifying the component work order to which you wish to attach the work units (Alphanumeric, 18)

Ensure that the component work order is already defined in the login organization unit.

The system displays the following fields:

Status

The status of the component work order

Execution Unit

The organization unit to which the work unit is allocated for execution

Primary Work Center #

The number identifying the work center in which the work units have to be performed

Priority

The priority of the work center

Scheduled Start Date

The date on which the component work order is scheduled to be executed

The system displays the following details in the “Pending Component Job Arisings” multiline:

Maintenance Type

The type of the maintenance work, such as overhaul, repair and inspection, to be performed on an aircraft

Work Unit Type

The type of the work unit, which could be “Task”, “Standard. Procedure” or “Work Package”

Work Unit #

The work unit retrieved by the system

Execution Facility

The location where the work unit has to be performed

The system displays one of the following options:

  • In - House –This indicates that the work unit has to be performed within the company.

  • Out-Source –This indicates that the work unit has to be given to a third party.

Primary Work Center #

The number identifying the work center in which the work unit will be performed

Est. Elapsed Time

The time estimated for work unit completion

Time UOM

The unit of measurement for the time that is being specified, which could be “Minutes”, ”Hours” or “Days”

Est. Man Hrs

The total man-hours estimated for work unit completion

Job Source

The source of the job

The system displays one of the following options:

  • On Wing – This indicates that the work unit is of the “On  Wing” type .

  • Component Removal – This indicates that the work unit pertains to the component removal.

  • Engineering – This indicates that the work unit is retrieved from EO or FCD.

  • Deferred – This indicates that the work unit is retrieved from the deferred list.

  • CMP – This indicates that the work unit is retrieved from the component maintenance program and forecast.

  • Shelf- Life Expiry – This indicates that the work unit must be performed because of shelf- life expiry.

Source Document #

The number identifying the source document against which the work unit is created

Opportunity Maintenance (Y/N)

Indicates whether the work unit pertains to the opportunity maintenance performed on the component or not.

Scheduled Date

The date on which the maintenance activity is scheduled to be performed on the aircraft.

Latest Compliance Date

The most recent date on which the work unit was complied with

Opportunity Maintenance (Y/N)

Indicates whether the work unit pertains to the opportunity maintenance performed on the component or not

Alert Date

The date on which the alert message for performing the work unit must be given

The textual description of the work center

Work Unit Description

The textual description of the work unit
