Viewing material requirement for a work unit
This page allow you to view the details of the parts required for executing the work unit in this page. The system displays the part number, its type, description, unit of measurement, required quantity, warehouse in which the part must be issued and the part cost.
Select the “View Material Estimates” link at the bottom of the “View Part Program Information” page.
The “View Material Estimate Information” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for which the part requirement must be viewed. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Maintenance Process |
The maintenance process of the part, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”. |
Program Status |
The status of the part maintenance program, which could be “Fresh” or “Authorized”. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the part maintenance program. |
Enter the following in the “Maintenance Activity Details” group box:
Work Unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the work unit for which the part requirement must be viewed. The system lists all the work units except those with program item type “Perpetual” defined for the part program and prefixes them with “TSK”, “SP” or “WP” based on the type of the work unit. Such units must also be in “Active” status to be displayed in the drop-down list. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the part details for the work unit selected here.
The system displays the following when you click the “Get Details” pushbutton:
Work Unit Description |
The textual description of the task, standard procedure or work package. |
Maintenance Type |
The type of the maintenance activity to be carried out which could be “Overhaul”, “Repair”, “Inspection”, “Others” etc., |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center where the work unit has to be performed. |
Work Center Description |
The textual description of the work center. |
The system displays the following in the “Part Details” multiline:
Part # |
The number identifying the part required for executing the work unit. |
Part Type |
The type of the part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the part. |
Reqd. Qty |
The quantity of part required for executing the work package. |
Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse from where the part is required. |
Part Cost |
The cost of the part. |
