This page allows you to view the details of resources of the “Equipment” or “Tools” type required for executing the work unit. You can select the work unit, for which the resource details must be viewed, and view the details such as resource code, its type, required duration and the number of resources required.

The “View Resource Estimate – Facilities” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Component Details” group box:

Part #

The number identifying the part to which the component belongs.

Part Description

The textual description of part.

Serial #

The serial number of the component.

Component #

The number identifying the component for which the facility type resource details must be viewed.

Maintenance Process

The maintenance process associated with the part, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”.

CMP Status

The status of the component maintenance program, which could be “Fresh” or “Authorized”.

Revision #

The revision number of the component maintenance program.

Work unit #

Use the drop-down list box to select the work unit for which the facility type resource requirement must be viewed. The system lists all the work units that have been defined for the component maintenance program and prefixes them with “TSK”, “SP” or “WP” based on the type of the work unit.

The system displays the following when you click the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Work Unit Description

The textual description of the task, standard procedure or work package.

Maintenance Type

The type of the maintenance activity to be carried out which could be “Overhaul”, “Repair”, “Inspection” etc.

Work Center #

The number identifying the work center where the work unit is performed.

Work Center Description

The textual description of the work center.

The system displays the following in the “Resource Details” multiline:

Resource #

The number identifying the resource required for completing the work unit.

Resource Type

The type of the resource, which could be “Tools”, ”Equipment” or “Others”.

Resource Description

The textual description of the resource.

Time Unit

The unit of measurement of time during which the resource is required, which could be “Hours”, “Days” or “Minutes”.

Reqd. Duration

The number of hours, minutes or days for which the resource is required to complete the work unit.

Reqd. Qty

The number of resources required for completing the work unit.

Resource Cost

The cost of the resource as defined in the “Work Center“ business component.
