Selecting part for viewing schedule arisings
In this page, you can select a part to view the schedule arisings. If you know the part number for which the schedule arisings are to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the part number, part description, ATA chapter number and the maintenance process. Based on the search criteria specified the system displays the part details.
Select the “View Component Schedule Arisings” link under the “Component Maintenance Program” business component.
The “Select Part #” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the part number for which the schedule arisings are to be viewed:
Part # |
The part for which the arisings are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the part has already been defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component and the part must be of the “Component” type. |
Select the “View EO Arisings” link at the bottom of the page to view only the engineering order related schedule arisings for the part.
Select the “View All Arisings” link at the bottom of the page to view all schedule arisings for the part.
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a part. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Part # |
The part for which the arisings are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers that are similar to the value entered here. |
Serial # |
The Serial # of the part or which the arisings are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers whose serial numbers are similar to the value entered here |
Component # |
The component number to which the part belongs for which arisings are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers that belong to the component number whose value is similar to the value entered here |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part for which the arisings are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose description is similar to the description entered here. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter to which the part belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose ATA chapter numbers are similar to the value entered here. |
Maintenance Process |
Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance process, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”. The system retrieves all the parts that are associated with the maintenance process selected here. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Part Details” multiline, based on the filter criteria specified:
Part # |
The number identifying the part retrieved by the system. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Component # |
The component number to which the part belongs. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter to which the part belongs. |
Maintenance Process |
The maintenance process of the part, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the part for viewing schedule details.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “View EO Arisings” link at the bottom of the page to view the engineering order schedule arisings details for the part.
Select the “View All Arisings” link at the bottom of the page to view schedule arisings for the part.
