In this page you can confirm / specify the work unit for which the changes are to be confirmed. Tell me more.

The “Select Work Unit #” page appears.

Work Unit # 

The number identifying the work unit, to be edited in the programs. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work units whose numbers are the similar to the one entered here. 

Work Unit Type 

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the work unit, which could be “Task”, “Standard Procedure” and “Work Package”. The system retrieves the work units that are of the type specified here. The system leaves the field blank by default. 

Work Unit Desc 

Enter the description of the work unit in full or enter it partially using “*” character. The system retrieves the work units whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. 

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria specified:

Work Unit # 

The number identifying the task, standard procedure or work package to be modified. 

Work Unit Type 

The type of the work unit, which could be “Task”, “Standard Procedure” or “Work Package”. 

Work Unit Update #

The updation number of the work unit generated when the work unit was updated into the maintenance program.

Updation Status

The status of the work unit updation , which can be “Fresh” or “Authorized”.

Revision # 

The revision number of the task, standard procedure or work package. 

Work Unit Desc 

The textual description of the task, standard procedure or work package.

Update Work Units in Programs - A summary of the activity

In this page you can specify the work unit (that has been updated into the part/component program) for which the changes are to be confirmed. You can also further modify the work unit details that has been updated into the program. The task, standard procedure and the work package are the basic work unit types. You can search for a work unit by providing the filter criteria such as the work unit number, its type or description. Based on the search criteria entered the system retrieves the work unit details.
