This page allows you to select a part for which the maintenance program details have to be defined. Tell me more.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which the maintenance program details are to be defined (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the part has already been defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component and the part must be of “Component” type.

Note: Ensure that only ‘active’ part is entered for maintaining the part program.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which the program details are to be updated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers that are similar to the value entered here.

Note: The system retrieves only ‘active’ parts in the search results.

Part Description

The textual description of the part for which the program details are to be updated (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the part belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts whose ATA chapter numbers are similar to the value entered here.

Maintenance Process

Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance process, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”. The system retrieves all the parts that are associated with the maintenance process selected here. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Program Defined (Y/N)

Use the drop-down list box and set the field as “Yes” to retrieve the part for which the program has already been defined. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Program Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the part program status, which could be “Fresh” or “Authorized”. The system retrieves the part programs that are in the status selected here. The system leaves the field blank by default.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the user status of the part program. The system retrieves the part programs that are in the user-defined status specified here. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Note: The system retrieves the part of the “Component” type if all the fields are left blank.. If the option setting “Planner Group Security” is set as “Required” in the Set Options activity, then the system retrieves only those parts associated to the Planner group to which the login user has been mapped.

The system displays the following in the “Part Details” group box based on the search criteria specified:

Part #

Program Defined?

Indicates whether or not the maintenance program has already been defined for the part. The system displays either “Yes” or “No”.

Program Status

The status of the part program, which could be “Fresh” or “Authorized”.

Maintenance Process

The maintenance process of the part, which could be “Hard-Time”, “On-Condition” or “Condition Monitoring”.

User Status

Maintain Part Program - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to select a part for which the maintenance program details have to be defined or modified. If you know the part number, you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the part number, description and ATA chapter number for the maintenance process. If the maintenance program is already defined for the part you can search for the part also by specifying the maintenance program status and the user-defined status. The system displays the details of the selected part, such as the part number, description, the ATA chapter to which the part belongs, program associated with the part, its status and user defined status.
