In this activity you can view the details of the attributes that are defined. Tell me more

The “View Attributes” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format 

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Attribute Code

The code identifying the attribute (Alphanumeric, 10).

 

You can enter the attribute code in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system then retrieves all the attribute codes which are similar to the code entered here.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the attribute. The system lists the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. This field is set as “Active” by default. Leave this field blank to retrieve the attributes irrespective of their status.

Attribute Description

The textual description of the attribute (Alphanumeric, 80).

You can enter the description in full, or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the attributes whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here.

Attribute Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the attribute. The system lists the options: “Qualitative” and “Quantitative”. The system  retrieves the attributes of the type specified here. By default, this field is left blank. Leave this field blank to retrieve the attributes irrespective of their types.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Attribute Code

The code of attribute retrieved by the system based on the filter criteria specified

Attribute Description

The textual description of the attribute

Attribute Type

The type of the attribute, which could be “Qualitative” or “Quantitative”

Status

The status of the attribute which could be “Active” or “Inactive”

UOM

The  unit of measurement for the part if the attribute type of the part is “Quantitative”

Created By

The name of the user who created the attribute

Created Date

The date on which the attribute was created

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the attribute

Last Modified Date

The date on which the attribute was last modified
