Cost Center basis for Resource Adjustment

The Cost Center basis for Resource Adjustment process parameter determines the cost center to which the financial postings for employee/facility object must be made for the task.

If the process parameter is set to:

• 0, financial postings for employee/facility object are made to the cost center of the task. This essentially will be the cost center of the work center where the task was executed.

• 1, financial postings for the employee/facility object are made to the cost center defined in Cost Center Rule Definition.

• 2. financial postings for an employee are made to the cost center of the employee at time-booking or the cost center of the department of the employee. For a facility object (Equipment/Tools/Others), financial postings are made to the cost center of the facility object/tool crib at time booking. If the facility object is held by work center, financial postings are made to the cost center of the work center that holds the facility object.
