Help on Customer Account Group

This Help page allows you to search and select the customer account group and transfer the details to the required field.

You can search the customer accounts group by specifying the customer account group, account group description, customer # and customer name. The system retrieves the search results in the multiline. The system retrieves the account groups that are in the “Active” status. Select the account group from the multiline and click the “OK” pushbutton to transfer it to the required page.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Customer Account Group” field.

The “Help on Customer Account Group” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for an account group:

Customer Account Group	A unique code identifying the customer account group. (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter this code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the customer account groups whose codes are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to search for all groups irrespective of the group names.
Account Group Description	The textual description of the customer account group (Alphanumeric, 100). You can enter this description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the customer account groups whose descriptions are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to search for all customer account groups irrespective of the customer account group descriptions.
Customer #	A unique number identifying the customer (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter this code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the customers whose codes are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to search for all customers irrespective of the customer number.
Customer Name	The name of the customer (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the customers whose names are similar to the one entered here. Leave this field blank to search for all customers irrespective of the customer names.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Customer Account Group	A unique code identifying the customer account group.
Account Group Description	A textual description of the customer account group.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a customer account group code.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
