This page allows you to edit route plan details. Tell me more.

The “Edit Route Plan” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “ASN Info” group box:

ASN #

The number identifying the advance shipping note selected in the previous page.

Status

The status of the advance shipping note.

Way Bill #

The number identifying the way bill that keeps track of the shipment sent by the supplier/customer.

ASN Date

The date on which the Trading Partner's advance shipping note was created.

Trading Partner #

The number identifying the Supplier/Customer of the Advance Shipping Note.

Trading Partner Name

The name of the supplier/customer.

Trading Partner ASN #

The number identifying the advance shipping note of the supplier/customer.

Trading Partner ASN Date

The date on which the supplier/customer advance shipping note was created.

Location

The location from where the shipment is being made (Alphanumeric, 256).

Note: You can specify each port location in the route plan. For example, if the shipment is being made from Point A to Point B but the carrier stops at Point C and Point D in between, the details of all these four locations must be entered. But the location should not be duplicated in the multiline.

Shipment Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the shipment. The system displays the options:

  • “Yet to receive” – Indicates that the shipment is yet to reach the location.

  • "Yet to ship” – Indicates that the shipment has reached the location but has not yet been shipped from the location and

  • “Shipped” – Indicates that the shipment has been shipped from the location..

Note: If you have set the shipment status as “Yet to ship” or “Shipped”, ensure that the shipment status of the previous location is set to “Shipped”.

Sch. Arrival Date

The date on which the shipment is expected to arrive at the specified location (Date format).

Specified Shipping Date

The date on which the shipment is expected to be shipped from the specified location (Date format). The date entered in this field should be later than or equal to the date entered in the “Sch. Arrival Date” field.

Carrier / Agency #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the carrier or agency through whom the shipment is being made. The system displays a list of carrier codes defined in the “Logistics Common Master” business component.

Route Doc #

The number identifying the route document of the shipment (Alphanumeric, 40).

Instructions

Any instructions or comments about the route plan (Alphanumeric, 255).

Editing the route plan – An overview

Edit Advance Shipping Note - a summary of the activity

This page allows you to modify the route plan for an advance shipping note. Each location covered by the shipment from the origin to the destination is listed in this page. You can modify the shipment status, schedule arrival date, specified shipping date, carrier/agency number, route document number and comments for each location in the route plan.
