This page allows you to activate or inactivate the PTT reference. Tell me more.

The “Activate/Inactivate PTT” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Status

The status of the PTT account. It could be "Fresh", “Active” or “Inactive”.

PTT Reference

The number identifying the PTT reference.

PTT Name

The name of the PTT.

The system displays the following fields in the group box:

Address

The complete mail address of the PTT.

 

Zoom facility available.

City

The city in which the PTT is located.

State

The state in which the PTT is located.

Zip

The postal code of the city.

Country

The country in which the PTT is located.

Phone No.

The phone number of the bank along with the country code and area code.

Fax

The fax number of the PTT.

Telex

The telex number of the PTT.

E-Mail

The electronic mail address of the PTT.

 

Zoom facility available.

Mailstop

The mailstop number of the PTT.

PTT Clearing No.

A number allotted to a PTT by the central PTT of the country This number is used while carrying out inter PTT transactions at the clearing center.

Swift No.

A number, used for transacting with international PTTs. This number will be necessary for file transfer of payments and receipts.

PTT Type

Indicates the type of PTT.

The system displays the following in the “PTT Account Information” group box:

PTT Account No.

The number identifying the PTT account.

Credit Limit

The maximum amount that the company can use for transactions from a PTT account.

Drawable Limit

The amount till which the company can draw funds from the PTT.

Currency

The transaction currency of the PTT account.

Effective Date From

The date from which the PTT account number or PTT code is active or inactive (Date Format).

The system displays the following in the “PTT Book Details” multiline:

PTT Code

The PTT code.

Description

The description of the PTT code.

Finance Book

The code identifying the finance book to which the PTT is mapped.

Posting Account Code

The code identifying the posting account in which the PTT details have been posted.

PTT Account No.

The number identifying the PTT account.

Account Balance

The debit balance available in the PTT account.

Dr/Cr

Indicates whether the account is a debit or a credit account.

Credit Limit

The amount till which the company can use for the transactions in that account.

Drawable Limit

The amount till which the company can draw funds from the PTT.

Interest Rate For Dr Balance

The interest rate on the debit balance held by the company in its PTT account (Decimal). Interest rate is charged if the debit amount exceeds the credit limit. The rate entered in this field must not exceed “100”.

Interest Rate For Cr Balance

The interest rate on the credit balance held by the company in its PTT account (Decimal). Interest rate is charged if the credit amount exceeds the credit limit. The rate entered in this field must not exceed “100”.

Effective Date For Interest Rate

The date from which the interest rate for debit and the credit balance is effective (Date Format).

Status

The status of the PTT account. It could be "Fresh", “Active” or “Inactive”.

Note: You can activate a PTT code that is in the “Inactive” status.

The system updates the status of the PTT code to “Active”. The system also updates the login ID of the user and the system date in the “Last Modified By” and the “Last Modified Date” fields.

Note: You can inactivate a PTT code that has a zero account balance.

The system updates the status of the PTT code “Inactive”. The system also updates the login ID of the user and the system date in the “Last Modified By” and the “Last Modified Date” fields.

The system updates the status of the PTT account to “Active”. The system also updates the login ID of the user and the system date in the “Last Modified By” and the “Last Modified Date” fields.

The system updates the status of the PTT account to “Inactive”. The system also updates the login ID of the user and the system date in the “Last Modified By” and the “Last Modified Date” fields.

The system displays the following fields:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the PTT.

Created Date

The date on which the PTT was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the PTT.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the PTT was last modified.

To proceed, carry out the following:

Activating or inactivating PTT – An overview

 

 

This page allows you to activate / inactivate a PTT code. You can activate a PTT code that is in the “Inactive” status. The system updates the status of the PTT code as “Active”. You can inactivate a PTT code that is in the “Active” status if the PTT code has a zero balance. The system updates the status of the PTT code as “Inactive”. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the PTT details.

This page also allows you to activate / inactivate a PTT account number. You can activate a PTT account number that is in the “Inactive” status. The system updates the status of the PTT account number as “Active”. You can inactivate a PTT account number that is in the “Active” status if the PTT codes that have been mapped to it have been inactivated. The system updates the status of the PTT account number as “Inactive”. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the PTT details.
