Help on work center
In this page, you can retrieve all work centers defined in the system. You can carry out a search based on the organization unit name, facility number, skill code, facility type, aircraft model number, part number, work unit type and work unit number. Based on the search criteria specified, the system retrieves the details of the work centers which are in ‘Active’ status and of Work Center Class “Execution”.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Work Center” field in the main screen.
The “Help On Work Center” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Org. Unit Name |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit associated with the work center for which the facility attribute is defined. The system displays all the organization units interacting with the current business component. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Facility # |
The number identifying the facility. (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or enter it partially using “*” character. The system retrieves all the facilities that are similar to the number entered here. You can leave the field blank to retrieve the work centers irrespective of the facility entered. |
Skill Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the skill code. The system lists all the “Active” skill codes as defined in the “Record Personal Information” activity of the “Employee Information” business component. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Facility Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the facility. The system lists the options "Equipment", "Tools" and "Others". The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Aircraft Model # |
The code identifying the aircraft model. (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the number in full or enter it partially using “*” character. The system retrieves all aircraft models that are similar to the number entered here. You can leave the field blank to retrieve the work centers irrespective of the aircraft model. |
Part # |
The code identifying the part. (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or enter it partially using “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts that are similar to the number entered here. You can leave the field blank to retrieve the work centers irrespective of the part number. |
Work Unit Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the work unit. The system lists the options "Task", "Standard Procedure" and "Work Package". The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Work Unit # |
The code identifying the work unit. (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or enter it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work units that are similar to the number entered here. You can leave the field blank to retrieve the work centers irrespective of the work unit. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to display the search results in the multiline.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

The number identifying the organization unit with which the work center is associated. |
