Selecting facility number for modification

This page allows you to select a facility for modifying the details. Tell me more.

Select “Edit Facilities” link under the “Work Center” business component.

The “Select Facility” page appears.

Enter the following fields to search for a particular facility number:

Facility Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the facility to be modified. The system provides the options “Equipment”, “Tools” and “Others” and sets the field to “Tools” by default.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the facility to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” or “Inactive”. Leave this field blank to retrieve facilities irrespective of the status. The system leaves this field blank by default.
Facility #	The number identifying the facility to be modified (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter all or part of the number you are searching for.
Facility Category	Use the drop-down list box to select the quick code to which the facility is associated. The system displays all quick codes of type “Facility” and status “Active”. Leave the field blank if you wish to retrieve facilities irrespective of the quick code association. The system leaves this field blank by default.
Facility Description	The textual description of the facility to be modified (Alphanumeric, 150). If you know the description in full, you can enter it. Otherwise, you can provide the description partially.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system fills in the following fields in the multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Facility #	The number identifying the facility.
Facility Description	The textual description of the facility.
Status	The status of the facility, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click the hyperlinked facility number in the multiline, to edit the facility details.

Selecting facility number for modification – An overview

This page allows you to select the facility number to be modified and view its details before modification. You can carry out a search based on the facility number, type, status, description and category. The details of the facility such as the facility number, description and status are displayed.
