Example:
Consider that the server is available in India and the user is in Adelaide, Australia. If the local time in Adelaide is 11:00 AM, Server time would be 7:00 AM (Since Adelaide time zone is 4 hours ahead of India).
Let the user perform the following:
Select the ‘Station’ as “Adelaide”
Select a task from the package for which the Ref. Date for compliance is set as 'End Date'.
Enter the Date & Time as 24/08/2010 11:00 AM for the task.
Changes the status of the task to “Completed”.
The system converts the entered Date & Time 24/08/2010 11:00 AM into server equivalent i.e. 24/08/2010 07:00 AM (time difference of 4 hours). This date and time is updated as ‘Compliance Date & Time for the task.
