Ensure the following when the status of the task / work order is modified:
The clock must not be running for a task against any employee, while completing or closing the task in the shop work order.
On completion/ closure of Task, ensure that mandatory parameters are recorded for the Task.
If the process parameter 'Enforce Excess/Core Returns on order closure? is “Yes” for the 'Shop Work Order Type' of the current SWO, then on closure/ pre-closure of Task/ Work Order, ensure that there are no parts pending for return.
When the SWO is closed, all direct and in-direct timesheet records against the SWO #, must have the Timesheet Status as “Authorized”.
Ensure that no material is issued against a task that is getting cancelled.
If the Shop Work Order is “Closed” / “Pre-Closed” / “Cancelled”, all the tasks in the Work Order must be in terminating status.
During closure of Work Order, if Main Core Component of the Work Order has configuration defined, then ensure that components are attached to all the mandatory positions.
If the parameter 'CoM Reqd?' is set as “Required” for the Shop Work Order type, on closure of SWO, ensure that the CoM has been issued in “Authorised” status.
If the SWO has any task in “External Routed” status, all the 'Repair Order' associated to that SWO must be closed.
If the status of the parent work order is changed to “Closed” / “Pre-Closed” / “Cancelled”, all the child work orders associated to the parent work order must be in terminating status.
The system performs the following on completion/ closure/ pre-closure of Work Order:
Updates the status of the work order as ‘Completed’/ ‘Closed’.
On closure / pre-closure of task, the system short-closes those Material Requests that are raised against the Task against which ‘Material Issue’ is not yet confirmed.
If the Main Core is not marked for retirement and not phased out, then condition of the Main Core is updated based on the ‘Repair Process Code’ of the Work Order.
If the ‘Maintenance Type’ of the selected ‘Repair Process Code’ is ‘Overhaul’, then condition is updated as ‘Overhauled’.
If the ‘Maintenance Type’ of the selected ‘Repair Process Code’ is other than ‘Overhaul’, then condition is updated as ‘Serviceable’.
If the Work Order is of ‘Job Type’ “Make”, then on completion of Work Order, new Serial # is created if Main Core is a Serial-Controlled Part and new Lot # is created if the Main Core is a Lot-Controlled Part.
